We currently have the following available position:

Patient Services Specialist

Primary location is Walnut Creek however occasional travel to our other offices in Concord and San Ramon may be required. Typical routine tasks including patient check in and out, incoming telephone calls, insurance verification, collection patient payments

Candidate must demonstrate multi-tasking skills in a high volume practice, provide strong communication skills, positive, and personable attitude are essential for success in this challenging, yet rewarding position.

Responsibilities will include

• Quality customer service
• Scheduling
• Fee collections
• Patient intake
• Answering telephones
• Clinical support to providers
• Patient flow
• In-office procedures
• Teamwork
• Insurance verification and compliance

Required skills

• At least 1 years front/back office experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent internal and external customer service
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Team player
• Experience with computerized scheduling, electronic medical records and billing systems
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent medical experience required.
